San Jacinto High School was a secondary school located at 1300 Holman Street in Houston, Texas; now part of the Houston Community College Central College, Central Campus. San Jacinto High School was located in the area now known as Midtown. [1] It was a part of the Houston Independent School District (HISD).

21 de ene. de 2020 · The San Jacinto High School located at 1300 Holman, Houston, Texas, initially housed South End Junior High School. It then became Central High School in 1926. From 1927 until 1934, the campus was also the first home to Houston Junior College and eventually became the University of Houston.
6 de jul. de 2018 · San Jacinto High School held its final classes here in 1970 when the Houston Technical Institute occupied the building. Houston Community College began offering classes here in 1971. Many of San Jacinto High School's former students formed an alumni association which by the mid-1990s had a membership in excess of 9,000.
23 de ago. de 2018 · Long gone but never forgotten, years spent at “San Jac” constituted a formative experience fondly recalled by two generations of Jewish Houstonians. San Jacinto High School opened in 1926, at 1300 Holman, on the grounds of what previously had been South End Junior High School.
SAN JACINTO HIGH SCHOOL ... This was one of two new campuses created after Sam Houston High School was closed and restructured in the spring of 2008 (the other is the Ninth-Grade College Preparatory Academy). Serving students in grades 10 through 12, this school opened in the fall of 2008.
