Dave Chavarri es el fundador, productor, mánager y baterista de la banda de metal alternativo Ill Niño. [1] Chavarri nació en Lima, Perú, pero a la edad de 11 años se trasladó a Nueva Jersey. Él ha tocado la batería para diversas bandas como Soulfly, Pro-Pain, Lääz Rockit, M.O.D. y Merauder.
Dave Chavarri is a Peruvian American musician, and is the founder, producer, manager, and drummer for the band Ill Niño, and Terror Universal. He is also the former drummer for bands Soulfly, Pro-Pain, M.O.D., Merauder and Lȧȧz Rockit, and Gothic Slam.

Ill Niño fue fundado en 1998 por el baterista Dave Chavarri, lanzando un demo con Jorge Rosado (antes en Merauder), como vocalista y Cristian Machado como bajista. Al año siguiente, se separó de Rosado, y empezó a buscar un nuevo vocalista, pero finalmente se decidió que la mejor decisión era Machado.
