Consecration: The Final Recordings Part 2 is an 8-CD box set live album by jazz pianist Bill Evans with Marc Johnson and Joe LaBarbera recorded during a nine night residency at Keystone Korner in San Francisco in 1980 and released on the Milestone label in 2002. [1]
Like that earlier collection, this one is an eight-CD boxed set, with the vastly influential pianist (and highly underrated composer)—in the company of his extraordinarily supportive colleagues, bassist Marc Johnson and drummer Joe LaBarbera—captured live at the now-shuttered Keystone Korner, San Francisco, Aug.31-Sept. 7, 1980.
