Or So It Seems is an album by Graham Lewis, Bruce Gilbert and Daniel Miller under the pseudonym Duet Emmo (an anagram of Dome and Mute), released in 1983 by Mute Records . The title track was also released as a 12" single and its b-side "Heart of Hearts" was included as a bonus track on CD releases of the album.

Duet Emmo is the legendary collaboration between Bruce Gilbert and Graham Lewis (both of Wire and Dome) and Daniel Miller (The Normal and founder/owner of Mute). Or So It Seems was originally released in 1983 and was the act's only release.

Favorite track: Or So It Seems (Remastered). anaivemistake I love the creativity of this album. Its beautiful, ominous, and it takes you on a mystic journey.

Duet Emmo is simply an anagram of Dome and Mute, seeing as how Gilbert and Lewis were teaming up with Mute label boss Daniel Miller. They released one record in 1983 named Or So It Seems.
