The Jeff Beck Group was a British rock band formed in London in January 1967 by former Yardbirds guitarist Jeff Beck. Their innovative approach to heavy-sounding blues, rhythm and blues and rock was a major influence on popular music.

He rose to prominence as a member of the rock band the Yardbirds, and afterwards founded and fronted the Jeff Beck Group and Beck, Bogert & Appice.
The Jeff Beck Group was formed by Jeff Beck in London in January 1967 after his departure from The Yardbirds in November 1966. Despite a constantly changing lineup, which at one time included vocalist Rod Stewart, guitarist Ronnie Wood, and pianist Nicky Hopkins, the group's unique approach to blues and rock had a lasting impact on popular music.
