The KVB is a British audio-visual post-punk duo originally formed in London in 2010 by Nicholas Wood and Kat Day. The KVB's sound has been described as a combination of electronic, psychedelic, post-punk and shoegaze. The visual element of the band is created by Kat Day, who studied fine art at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Posteriormente, la vocalista, tecladista y artista visual Kat Day, se unió al proyecto en 2011 para lanzar su debut Always Then en 2012, un disco de resonancias crudas, minimalistas y etéreas, que, a la fecha, es referente obligado de este dueto inglés.

Hoy, Kat Day y Nicholas Wood están en Estados Unidos como parte de su gira mundial, y el próximo 17 de septiembre regresan a México para compartir nuevamente el estilo característico que los distingue del resto.
Kat Day y Nicholas Wood, mejor conocidos como The KVB, recién lanzaron un nuevo álbum titulado Unity, bajo el sello Invada Records, el cual está integrado por 10 tracks. La dupla originaria de Reino Unido nos entrega un LP perfectamente manufacturado, gracias a la atinada producción de Andy Savours y a la mezcla de James Trevascus.
RA Editorial. ̸. Biography. The KVB is the audio/visual project of Klaus Von Barrel & Kat Day, based in London, UK. Combining shoegaze guitars, minimal synth melodies, hypnotic drum machine beats and reverb drenched vocals with abstract imagery.
Vocalist/keyboardist/visual artist Kat Day joined Wood in 2011, and the KVB released their debut album, Always Then, in 2012 on Clan Destine. Records. The duo kicked off a busy 2013 with the release of their second full-length, Immaterial Visions, for the Minimal Wave imprint Cititrax that February, then followed it.
