For this digital release of Bodywork (for the first time ever), I have included a bonus track, never before released. It is a 13 minute 4 seconds reconstruction that Steven Wilson made from tracks from the whole album. I first met Steven around the time of the Marshall Travis Wood Band.

Marshall Travis Wood is John Marshall, the accomplished British drum veteran, Theo Travis on tenor, soprano, and flute, and Mark Wood on guitars. Bodywork was formed when a bassist didn't show up for their recording date, and the three others spent the time improvising.
Recorded in 2023, this solo studio album by Theo Travis embraces the world of dark jazz. It was inspired by Film Noir, the atmospheres and music of Twin Peaks, Doomer and Industrial musics but is all refined through Theo Travis' own musical vision and his jazz and ambient sensibilities.
Theo Travis (nacido en 1964 en Birmingham) es un saxofonista y flautista inglés. Travis se graduó en flauta y saxofón en la Universidad de Mánchester y ha trabajado, entre otros, con Gong, Porcupine Tree, The Tangent, Bass Communion, No-Man, David Sylvian, Burnt Friedman y Dave y Richard Sinclair.
