10 de oct. de 2015 · Ron Stabinsky. Ron Stabinsky received his first musical lessons at the age of five from Michael Hoysock, his grandfather. Since 2000, Ron has been studying the Taubman Approach to piano playing with Edna Golandsky in New York City. He has also benefited greatly from additional study of classical repertoire with concert pianist Ilya Itin.
Ron Stabinsky is a pianist who suffered from a hand injury and found relief through the work of Edna Golandsky, a teacher of the Taubman Approach. He shares his experience of studying with Edna and how it improved his technique, sound and musicality.
Stabinsky can be found as an accompanist in almost every context, including classical recitals, community choirs, jazz, pop, and all other musical genres. Stabinsky is the pianist for Peter Evans Quintet. He appears on Destination:Void in 2013, the group’s epic sci fi adventure album. It was based on Frank Herbert’s novel.
In addition to the newly reformed founding trio, the album features keyboardist Ron Stabinsky, a jazz-trained virtuoso adept at any style, and Curt Kirkwood’s son Elmo, whose old-school rock-guitar grit ideally complements his father’s spacier explorations.

3 de nov. de 2016 · Ron Stabinsky, a pianist from Pennsylvania who likes to extemporize, releases his debut solo album Free for One on Hot Cup Records. Adaptable, Stabinsky has been highly influential in successful projects such as Most Other People Do the Killing and Peter Evans Quintet.
