David C. Lewis (1940 – June 7, 2021) born in Seattle, Washington, was an American multi-instrumentalist best known as the keyboardist and composer with the American soft-rock band Ambrosia and the group Shadowfax.

23 de jul. de 2009 · David Lewis (1941–2001) was one of the most important philosophers of the 20th Century. He made significant contributions to philosophy of language, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of science, decision theory, epistemology, meta-ethics and aesthetics.
David C. Lewis is a Visiting Professor in the School of Ethnology and Sociology, Yunnan University, Kunming, China. Besides his teaching in China, he has taught about Japan at the universities of Cambridge and Leeds and has conducted research on the anthropology of religion in Japan, England, Russia and elsewhere in the former USSR.
David Kellogg Lewis (September 28, 1941 – October 14, 2001) was an American philosopher. Lewis taught briefly at UCLA and then at Princeton University from 1970 until his death. He is closely associated with Australia, whose philosophical community he visited almost annually for more than 30 years.
