Fritz Gerald McIntyre (2 September 1958 – 23 August 2021) [2] was a British musician, most famous for his tenure as keyboard player in the original line-up of Simply Red .

Fritz McIntyre has died. McIntyre, who played keyboards with Simply Red, was 62. The Birmingham-born musician was part of the original Simply Red lineup, alongside singer Mick Hucknall, guitarist David Fryman, drummer Chris Joyce, bassist Tony Bowers and brass player Tim Kellett.
