Lonestar (formerly known as Texassee) is an American country music group from Texas. The group consists of Drew Womack (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Michael Britt (lead guitar, background vocals), Dean Sams (keyboards, acoustic guitar, background vocals), and Keech Rainwater (drums).
Dean Sams was born on August 3, 1966 in Garland, Texas, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Maybe Someday, Cedar Cove (2013) and Static (2009). He has been married to Kim since December 29, 1989. They have two children.
