24 de ene. de 2007 · Western Electric is the latest from Sid Griffin, formerly of the Long Ryders and the Coal Porters, and author of a great biography of Gram Parsons.
Special guest is Robyn Hitchcock, with Robyn’s voice and guitar lending extra tenderness to the unrecorded Gene Clark song. The ex-Soft Boy has never sounded more at home. The album appeared on Gadfly Records in the USA, Munich Records in Benelux and Glitterhouse Records in Germany and central Europe.
The Western Electric album on CD with fold out poster inlay. This is the US release on Gadfly records and these are the last few copies Sid has at Prima Records HQ. The eponymous debut album by Western Electric.
