18 de ago. de 2014 · Billy Rath, bassist with Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, has died at the age of 66 after a long illness. He replaced Richard Hell in the New York punk outfit in 1976 and appeared on the band’s iconic album LAMF in 1977.
Billy Rath disappeared from the music scene after leaving the Heartbreakers in the mid-1980s, and he undertook a period of rehabilitation to recover from the effects of sustained abuse of drugs and alcohol.
