The Ozzman Cometh is a compilation album by British heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne released in 1997. It is his third greatest hits collection. Its initial, limited-edition 2-CD pressing contained five previously unreleased songs.
The Ozzman Cometh es un álbum recopilatorio de Ozzy Osbourne, publicado en 1997. [1] Es su segunda colección de grandes éxitos (la primera fue Ten Commandments de 1990) y contiene cinco canciones inéditas, además de algunos vídeos en formato Quicktime.
The song was redone by guitarist Zakk Wylde as a bonus track on the second reissue of the Black Label Society album Sonic Brew as well as on its own promotional E.P. called No More Tears .
Zakk Wylde had his moments, but I don’t think it warrants having an equal footing with Rhoades and completely dwarfing Jake E. Lee on a greatest hits release. The Ozzman may have Cometh, but only in the sense of an impotent old man trying to plant his seed in a younger generation of mindless pseudo-metal heads.
‘The Ozzman Cometh’ resulta un buen recopilatorio por varios aspectos. Por un lado tenemos una selección básica con los temas más significativos de Ozzy, bastante buena pese a ir directa al grano, centrándose en los grandes éxitos y eligiendo en ocasiones un tema por disco.
