The Ozzman Cometh is a compilation album by British heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne released in 1997. It is his third greatest hits collection. Its initial, limited-edition 2-CD pressing contained five previously unreleased songs.

Randall William "Randy" Rhoads (December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American heavy metal guitarist who played with Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot. He died in a plane accident while on tour with Osbourne in Florida in 1982. A devoted student of classical guitar, Rhoads combined his classical music influences with his own heavy metal style.
The original version of this album is a double CD package, with the first CD being Ozzy Solo tracks, and the second CD being some of Ozzy’s “Basement Tapes” from Sabbath’s first year, plus a 20 minute Interview with Ozzy himself. Latter pressings do not have Disc 2.
