Hate Dept. is an American industrial/punk rock band, formed in 1991 by Steven Seibold. Seibold is a multi-instrumentalist who writes, records and releases Hate Dept. albums with minimal outside help.

20 de feb. de 2017 · Formed in 1991 by the frontman, guitarist, keyboardist, percusssionist, and vocalist Steven Seibold, Hate Dept. combines a mixture of hard rock, punk, industrial, and dance music with venomous, angry lyrics.
Lineup as of 2003: Steven Siebold, Steven Jones-Ortiz, Marc Greco, Paul Nieser, Jon Siren. Started in 1991 in Los Angeles by frontman (Steven) Seibold who was previously the singer for a band called Cupid Falling which was a more electronic version of what is now the Hate Dept sound.
