Cathryn Antoinette «Toni» Tennille [1] (Montgomery, Alabama; 8 de mayo de 1940) es una cantante, compositora y teclista estadounidense, conocida como la mitad del dúo de los años 70 Captain & Tennille con su entonces esposo Daryl Dragon; su canción insignia es «Love Will Keep Us Together».
In 1974, Tennille sang background vocals on Elton John's Caribou album. She made a guest appearance on "The Love Boat" Season 2 Episode 6, which aired on October 21, 1978. In 1979, she sang backing vocals on Pink Floyd's The Wall.
It was originally recorded by John for his eighth studio album, Caribou (1974), and was released as a single that peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and reached number 16 on the UK Singles Chart.
