Gillian Mary Smyth (1 June 1933 – 22 August 2016) was an English musician best known for co-founding the psychedelic rock group Gong with her partner Daevid Allen in 1967.
22 de feb. de 2007 · May not be your typical Gilli Smyth or Mother Gong CD, but 'Short Tales And Tall' is okay - as it's pretty much all spoken word, with some good cosmic music thrown in here and there.
She has produced several albums including "I am your Egg", sharing the composition with Orlando Allen, and Daevid Allen, as on the story album, "Short Tales and Tall". Other works include " Parade " with the band Gong Matrices, " Paradise ", and " Politico-Historico-Spirito " about Gong.
