Trapped between the misanthropic Captain Vela and his crew of fugitives and desperate men, his only friend is Grischa, the meek cook. Soon the new friends must come together to protect the pilot of a crashed airplane, the lovely heiress Ethel Marley, by hiding her from the captain and crew.
