Begum Akhtar Sulaiman (née Akhtar Jahan Suhrawardy) (1922–1982) was a Pakistani-Bengali social worker, political activist and the daughter of Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, the fifth Prime Minister of Pakistan.

She began her career as a courtesan performing in private mehfils for patrons in Lucknow, and went to become a prominent singers on All India Radio and even films. With more than 400 ghazals to her credit, she brought a certain grace to thumri and dadra with a style that was distinctly her own.
