Bourne Grammar School (BGS) is a co-educational grammar school with academy status on South Road , in Bourne, Lincolnshire, England. The school was founded in 1330. It previously held Arts College Status, and was awarded Academy status in January 2012, although it retains its former name.
Bourne Grammar is a mixed selective School with a large Sixth Form offering academic A-Levels. In the last decade the School has expanded rapidly and there are now over 1600 students on roll, including over 400 in the Sixth Form.
All admissions in Years 7-11 to Bourne Grammar School are subject to an Admissions Test. For entry into Year 7, this is the 11+ Admissions Test. Students wishing to join the School in Years 8-11 are subject to an alternative age appropriate admissions test.
