The Changeling is a studio album by the English new wave band Toyah, fronted by Toyah Willcox, released in 1982 by Safari Records. The album peaked at number 6 in the UK where it was certified silver for sales exceeding 60,000 copies.
The 2023 remaster of the classic and fan favourite Angel & Me is available digitally this Friday. It’s digital B-Side is the previously unreleased Work In Progress Mix from CD2 of the 2CD+DVD edition. The Changeling was not released on CD until 1999, although this long-awaited release did at least include six bonus tracks, four of which were previously unavailable on CD, and an enhanced video for “Thunder in the Mountains”. On the CD reissue, the ending of ‘Angel & Me’ has been edited.
