Reunion. The Smog Veil Records CD rekindled interest in Rocket From The Tombs, and they reformed in 2003 with original members Thomas, Chrome, and Bell, joined by Richard Lloyd (guitar), and Steve Mehlman (drums).

Born as Steven Arthur Mehlman in 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio, Teve began drumming at the age of ten. He started playing in local Cleveland bands in 1989. Steve Mehlman joined Cleveland, Ohio based Pere Ubu in August 1995, replacing original drummer Scott Krauss and his temporary replacement Scott Benedict.
