Jan Harlan (born 5 May 1937) is a German-American executive producer who worked with his brother-in-law, the director Stanley Kubrick, on his last five films.

He would not have laughed it off since it repeated the other grotesque story about filming a fake moon landing, invented by ARTE France as a hoax in a TV program also made after his death.

Jan Harlan is a German-born filmmaker who worked with his brother-in-law Stanley Kubrick on several projects, including A Clockwork Orange and Eyes Wide Shut. He was also the producer of A.I. Artificial Intelligence and a jury member of ShortCutz Amsterdam film festival.
