I'm going on record as saying The Patrolman is my favorite track. There isn't a bad song on this album, but that's the showstopper that made me believe the hype when I first heard it in the OST for Sigil. This album is a fantastic place to start for a Buckethead explorer, and a gateway into a genuinely fantastic artist's extensive body of work.
The line-up features the core Praxis trio of Laswell, guitarist Buckethead and drummer Brain. The band returned a year later with their 2nd album 'Sacrifist' and to say it went in a slightly different direction would be an understatement. The band went from having 6 to 11 members, and the long instrumental jams and melodies were replaced with speed metal and screaming vocals.
