Denroy Morgan (1945-2022) was a Jamaican-born American reggae artist and the first reggae artist to be signed to RCA Records. He was also the father of several musical children, including Morgan Heritage and Laza Morgan.

He was 76. CNW said Morgan passed away at his home in Atlanta surrounded by his children and extended family.
