Anohni and the Johnsons (previously known as Antony and the Johnsons) is a music ensemble originally based in New York City that presents the work of English singer-songwriter Anohni and her collaborators. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2000.
Hasta 2018 se trata del último álbum publicado bajo el nombre de Antony and The Johnsons. A partir de 2015, Antony pasa a convertirse en Anohni con su nueva identidad transgénero y publica nuevos trabajos en solitario, como Hopelessness (2016).
Originally released in 2000 on David Tibet’s artist-run label Durtro, Antony and the Johnsons features songs ANOHNI first performed in clubs in NYC in the early 90s, recorded for the first time with a full band and string ensemble.

Anohni Hegarty (formerly Antony Hegarty, born 1971), styled as ANOHNI, is an English-born singer, songwriter, and visual artist. She has presented solo work and as the lead singer of the band Anohni and the Johnsons, formerly known as Antony and the Johnsons.
