9 de may. de 2013 · Home. Landmarks. Pokiok Falls. Pokiok is situated on the west bank of the Saint John River, 60 kilometres (37 mi) west of Fredericton, and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) west of Nackawic. Pokiok Gulch Old Mill and Flume 1915. The community is home to the Pokiok Falls, which were created by the Pokiok Stream emptying over a ledge into the Saint John River.
10 de abr. de 2013 · The main feature of the park is the rocky Pokiok Stream, which has many small waterfalls within the park. The Streamside Trail gives the most access to the stream below the bridge and the Lookout Trail provides quick access to Pokiok Falls above the bridge.

The high water level of the Mactaquac Dam reservoir submerged the waterfall and the Pokiok Gorge in 1967. [1]

Pokiok Falls. Falls Detail: Pokiok Falls is not large but has a unique character that embraces the area and visitors. It is located in hilly country just west of Nackawic on property developed into a small park by the St. Anne Nackawic Pulp & Paper Mill.
Description. Waypoints. This is an interesting waterfall, as it has carved a slot in the rock and crashes down onto a large rock at the bottom. The waterfall drops almost vertically under Route 105. The easiest and safest way to see this waterfall is to take the old railroad tracks and then come up to the base of the falls. Conditions.
