Eamon Carr (born 12 November 1948), is from Kells, County Meath. He and Peter Fallon were among the founding members of a poetry and beat performance group called Tara Telephone in Dublin in the late 1960s that also published the quarterly literary journal Capella. He is the drummer in the band.
Writer, musician, art historian, Eamon Carr’s artistic career began when, inspired by the Liverpool Scene, he set up the Tara Telephone collective with Peter Fallon in 1969.
Eamon Carr is a writer, musician and art historian. Author of Deirdre Unforgiven, A Journal of Sorrow, (Doire Press) and The Origami Crow: Journey into Japan, World Cup Summer 2002 (Seven Towers). His verse play Dusk received its premier in the GPO, Dublin.
