It gives me great pleasure to present to you Ysgol Gyfun Gŵyr’s website. In it, you will be able to read about the school’s aims and have a taste of the busy academic and cultural life of the school. Since we opened in 1984, the school has consistently attained very high academic standards at county and national level.
Pleser o’r mwyaf yw cyflwyno gwefan Ysgol Gyfun Gŵyr i chi. Arni, cewch ddarllen am nodau’r ysgol a chael blas ar ei bywyd academaidd a diwylliannol prysur. Ers iddi agor ei drysau yn 1984, mae’r ysgol wedi cyflawni safonau academaidd uchel iawn ar raddfa sirol a chenedlaethol, a hynny’n gyson.
Ysgol Gyfun Gŵyr is a Welsh-medium secondary school for pupils aged between 11 and 19 years. The school is situated in Gowerton, Swansea, Wales. It was established in 1984. As of 2023, Ysgol Gyfun Gŵyr had 1113 pupils enrolled at the school, with 27.5 per cent of those coming from Welsh-speaking homes.

Gŵyr is renowned for all the lunch-time and after school activities. We believe not only in developing a child academically as an excellent learner but also as a rounded individual who is a healthy citizen.

Ysgol uwchradd cyfrwng Cymraeg yn Nhre-gŵyr, sir Abertawe, De Cymru, yw Ysgol Gyfun Gŵyr . Hanes. Agorwyd yr ysgol ym mis Medi 1984. Cyn hynny, bu'n rhaid i blant Abertawe deithio i Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera er mwyn derbyn eu haddysg drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg.
