Eric Woolfson was a Scottish pianist, songwriter and producer who co-created the progressive rock band The Alan Parsons Project with Alan Parsons. He also wrote and produced several stage musicals inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, Sigmund Freud and Gaudi.

Eric was the creator, songwriter, lyricist (and often lead singer) of the ten Alan Parsons Project albums. Since then, he wrote five stage musicals ( Dancing Shadows , POE , Gambler , Gaudi and Freudiana ) which have been performed world-wide.
