These lights were met with unanimous international success and launched a new wave of initiatives to showcase monuments at night-time, in Paris and major cities in France and around the world. The beams of light, aimed from bottom to top, illuminate the Eiffel Tower from inside its structure.
Lights of Paris (French: Lumières de Paris) is a 1938 French musical comedy film directed by Richard Pottier and starring Tino Rossi, Michèle Alfa and Raymond Cordy. It was shot at Pathé's Joinville Studios in Paris. The film's sets were designed by the art director Andrej Andrejew.

23 de abr. de 2020 · As of 23 September 2022, the Eiffel Tower's lighting times will continue to change as part of the City of Paris' energy saving plan. The Eiffel Tower's lighting (golden lights and beacons) will be switched off earlier, at 11.45pm (instead of 1am) as soon as the Tower closes to the public.
