Jim Heyl and Dave Olson replaced Ramirez and Pierleoni for the 1994 album Bring It Home. During the second half of the 1990s, Savoy Brown was centred around Simmonds and bassist Nathaniel Peterson, both of whom shared lead vocal duties.
David Jack Peverett (16 April 1943 – 7 February 2000), also known as Lonesome Dave, was an English singer and guitarist, best known as the original lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Foghat, which he co-founded following his tenure in Savoy Brown.

Youlden left the band in 1970 following Raw Sienna; shortly thereafter, Peverett, Earl, and Stevens departed to form Foghat. Simmonds assembled yet another lineup and began a hectic tour of America, showcasing the group's now-refined bluesy boogie rock style with new lead vocalist Dave Walker.
