15 de sept. de 2021 · CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Larry Goshorn, a legend on the Cincinnati music scene, died Tuesday. Goshorn and his brother, Tim, were the heart and soul of the band Pure Prairie League.
The Sacred Mushroom was a blues rock and psychedelic rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, active from 1966-1969. The band was led by guitarist and songwriter Larry Goshorn and his younger brother, vocalist Tim Goshorn.
16 de oct. de 2021 · However, without a doubt, Larry Goshorn's most beautiful guitar was a Fender Stratocaster with an incredible body that was hand painted by his wife Kim Goshorn. Isn't that guitar stunning? Larry is certainly missed by his family, friends, and most of all by his wife, Kim.
Tim Goshorn's brother Larry, who had played with Pure Prairie League from 1973 to 1978, also fell victim to cancer and died on September 14, 2021.

Larry was a talented musician and songwriter who appeared on Two Lane Highway, If The Shoe Fits, Dance, Takin' The Stage, and Just Fly. He also appeared on the Pure Prairie League reunion album Mementos 1971-1987 .

Larry Goshorn. country rock group Pure Prairie League from 1975 to 1978 (was a guest on Pure Prairie League's reunion album in 1987) and was with brother Tim (until Tim's death) part of the Goshorn Brothers. Released a limited solo CD in 2016. Larry Goshorn died September, 14th, 2021.
