23 de sept. de 2017 · Eric Eycke, who was a member of Corrosion of Conformity during the band's hardcore punk / crossover beginning, has passed away. The news was confirmed by the band late Friday night (Sept. 22).
Shelton quit the band in 1983 and COC first recruited Robert Stewart to sing but he stayed only for about a month, so they recruited Eric Eycke from fellow Raleigh band Colcor to be the new singer. They recorded their first album, "Eye for an Eye", with Eycke.
