The novel, Zikora, is set in Washington D.C, United States of America. It captures a 39-year-old Nigerian woman who works as a lawyer in the United States. She is dating Kwame, a Ghanaian who is also a lawyer and seems to be her perfect match until she becomes pregnant and he decides to abandon her.
Summary. Zikora grows up in Nigeria with her mother and father and they live a peaceful and content life. Her father ends up marrying a second woman when Zikora is eight years old and her mother is fine with the situation as Zikora's father promises to prioritize them.
