Finalmente el 5 de enero de 2003 se formó el grupo conformado con Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche, Scott Smitty y Nola en Nueva Orleans, Luisiana, Estados Unidos, por Rec Room Records. El 1 de marzo de 2003 Rec Room Records estrenó el primer CD de Los imaginadores llamado Good Ideas. [2]
The Imagination Movers are an American children's band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2003. [1] The line-up includes drummer and multi-instrumentalist Rich Collins, keyboardist and banjo/mandolin player Scott Durbin, bassist Dave Poche, and guitarist Scott "Smitty" Smith. Members of the group were longtime friends and neighbors.
Scott Durbin is a versatile performer who has worked in film, TV and music. He is best known for creating and starring in Imagination Movers, a children's show that celebrates creativity and friendship.

The son of a second-generation Methodist minister and chaplain in the US Army, Durbin lived the life of an army brat, residing in various places around the world including Washington, D.C., San Antonio, and Thailand, before his family settled in New Orleans when he was around seven years old.
