18 de dic. de 2006 · Dave Mount was a drummer who played with the glam rock band Mud in the early Seventies. He helped create their distinctive sound with his foot-thumping style and had several hits, including \"Tiger Feet\" and \"Lonely This Christmas\".
The band was founded by lead guitarist Rob Davis, lead vocalist Les Gray, drummer Dave Mount (born 3 March 1947, Carshalton; died 2 December 2006, St Helier Hospital, Carshalton) and bassist Ray Stiles (born 20 November 1946, Guildford, Surrey).
David Mount is a researcher and teacher in data structures and algorithms for geometric problems. He is a member of the Algorithms and Theory Group at the University of Maryland and has published several books and papers in the field.

Successful UK pop / glam band. Mud was founded by singer Les Gray and drummer Dave Mount. They formed a band with bass player Ray Stiles and guitarist Rob Davis. On being discovered by producer Mickie Most during a gig, they were hooked up with writer / producer partners Chinn And Chapman.
