The Bobs were an a cappella vocal group founded in San Francisco, California, in the early 1980s. They moved to Seattle, Washington , and were active recording and touring throughout the United States, Canada and Europe until their farewell show at the Barns at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA, on October 21, 2017.

Biographies. Since 1983, when the Bobs, the original "band without instruments" put out their first, self-titled album, we started our own love affair with this talented, funny, edgy, envelope-pushing group.
This is a new album called "Biographies" by The Bobs, our 16th studio recording. It's an album of songs about famous and (not-quite-so-famous) historical figures—in some way, shape or form each song tells the life story of (or at least an event in the life of) some notables throughout history.
