Christopher Nigel Walley (born 30 June 1941) is an English former golfer and tea-chest bass player and manager, best known for his association with band The Quarrymen, the precursor of The Beatles which included John Lennon. His surname has often been spelt incorrectly as 'Whalley' in numerous books and on web pages.

27 de jul. de 2018 · Nigel Whalley was found dead in a flat in Beeston at 6.16pm on December 17 last year by police officers who had been sent to look for him. The Leeds Street Outreach Team called West Yorkshire Police after they became concerned about the 50-year-old because he had failed to pick up his methadone prescription and had not been seen for several days.
