13 de may. de 2024 · William Atherton (born July 30, 1947), born William Atherton Knight, is an American film, stage and television actor. --- Atherton was born in Orange, Connecticut, the son of Robert Atherton Knight and Roby (maiden name Robison). He studied acting at the Drama School at Carnegie Tech and graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1969.
Atherton advocating for it- as a fully-formed adult several years into his acting career and clearly not a child just going along with things- is problematic. It doesn’t make him a bad guy. If anything, I think looking at this with today’s sensibilities might even make someone empathetic for the man and whatever he went through be the person in that segment.
