11 de may. de 2024 · I stopped at a gas station to check and realized I could not shut off the ignition/engine by the key. I used the kill switch, engine is off but ignition was still on, didn’t make a difference even when I pull the whole key out. I was able to restart the engine again and went home.
12 de may. de 2024 · That is normal operation depending on the temperature of the coolant or the HVAC system pressure when the key is turned off. Bill FYI: The quoted “2 minutes” max running appears wrong, for a 2016 z06 at least.
22 de may. de 2024 · Leave like that for 20 minutes, then reconnect normally. You could also try clearing codes using a scan tool. You likely have numerous low voltage faults. GL. Edit: Also check the fob battery. fob battery has nothing to do with it even if the fob battery was dead it does not affect the running of vehicle.
Hace 5 días · RE: CM870 code 259 Fuel shutoff solenoid. I had same issues on my 871. Causes silent derate. It will keep derating til you change fuel shut off selenoid. ( 70 bucks) make sure you clean up the little block and piston it's mounted on, as this can cause it to stick. Carb cleaner and Emery cloth works great.
7 de may. de 2024 · The car Is a 56 HT with 454 crate engine . What It does Is maybe 50% of the time when you go to shut It off , It continues to run . If you cycle the key back and forth a few times It will eventually kill . Its got a Power Master 10SI alternator wired to the Idiot light like the diagram below and MSD electronic Ignition .
Hace 2 días · Joined: Jan 2017. Fuel Shutoff Solenoid. I’m having an issue. Got a 2010 Prostar with a Cummins ISX in it. My truck wasn’t shutting off after I turned the key to the off position. It sputters for about 10 seconds smokes out the stack then turns off. I got a quick scan done and the fuel shutoff solenoid came up. I replaced the solenoid itself.
