Hace 4 días · Two species of lizards, Stenocercus crassicaudatus and Stenocercus ochoai, are common in the Inca citadel, where they can be seen gliding between the stone walls. The sanctuary’s snakes include species from the genera Atractus, Chironius, Dipsas, Oxyrrophus and Clelia.
26 de may. de 2024 · Despite all of these and other worthy observations this past week, I have selected this observation of a Stenocercus by @gaell as Obscure Amazonian Lizard Observation of the Week. So obscure, I'm not even sure which species of Stenocercus this is...maybe S. chlorostictus. Thus this week's entry is a bit of a mystery at the moment.
