Rewatching and the last scene of season 4 will forever be one of the best scenes of Shameless. Frank has been sick for probably half the season (at least), and I remember the first time watched wondering if he was actually going to die. As dark as season 4 is, the part I most enjoy is how Carl grows into his character, and he and Frank really bond.
Lip tells the plan to Ian, who tells Debbie and Carl, who tell Kev and V. They all manage to scrounge together the money, through tutoring or babysitting or stealing lunch money from kids at school—Lip decides to let Carl’s misbehavior slide this once, since it’s for a good cause—and keep it on the down-low from both Fiona and Frank, who, miraculously, remain oblivious to their subterfuge.

Carl being an animal lover inconsistency ? I know this show is infamous for its inconsistencies but one of the biggest for me was that when Carl is a kid he constantly is said to be torturing or hurting animals but then in season 8 (maybe 9?) he needs community service hours and doesn’t want to euthanize animals so he starts an at home ...
8 de may. de 2024 · Carl’s fate as a proud and glorified meter maid doesn’t necessarily seem like the happiest of endings for the character. However, there are hints provided that imply that Carl and Officer Tipping might step up to buy the Alibi and turn it into a police bar.
20 de may. de 2024 · As of series 8, Carl is the only original Gallagher child left, after Liam decided to stay with his mum, and Carl seems to have feelings for best mate Chesney's cousin, Sita Desai (Aysha Kala). He also had sexual relations with her.
