25 de jun. de 2024 · Exit Windows. Copy the new logo as VGALOGO.RLE to the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. Run Windows setup (SETUP.EXE) from the DOS prompt and change your video settings - or at least do so as if you wanted to change them, i.e. choose a different resolution and return to your previous settings. Save your changes.

Hace 3 días · So in that long message what you are saying is that both Open and Classis Shell do not allow the old Windows Start menu? You have the boring and useless window with whatever you have pinned. You have to search for a program and then choose from that program's old start menu.
Hace 2 días · I can make bitmaps look exactly like say, the default "Windows 7" background logo picture, then the menu is too bright on other themes. Using the "Override glass color" option in CSM, can help on a case by case basis, for matching.
6 de jun. de 2024 · It will show up in the homebrew loader with a classic Windows logo. For Windows 3.1, put a WINDOWS folder into the retroarch_3ds folder. For Windows 98, put an image of the system into the retroarch_3ds folder called W98.img. For Windows 95, put an image of the system into the retroarch_3ds folder called W95.img.
