This cross-sectional study estimated the weighted prevalence of autism spectrum disorder were 3.05, 3.79, and 3.42% among individuals aged 3–17 years in the US in 2021, 2022, and the 2-year overall, respectively.

Among 2020 NHIS participants aged 22-80 years (n = 28 225), we compared self-reported prevalence of current cigarette smoking and heavy alcohol drinking among those with and without disabilities and among those with childhood- versus adult-onset disabilities.
