It was released on October 22, 2012, by Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. I'm curious to know, how difficult would it have been for Kendrick to make a record like to pimp a butterfly? Obviously Kendrick was never shying away from being honest and socially aware in his lyrics, but it really seems like TPAB is unlike any major studio release from a prominent rapper.
What is the appeal of tpab? Discussion. I'm not a troller or a hater, but I seriously don't get the appeal of the album. I listened to this album 10+ times, and I think this album is mid-good, nothing more. I think GKMAC is much better than tpab. r/KendrickLamar. • 4 hr. ago. juhanmakaak. I’m a new Kendrick fan and I just listened to TPAB for the first time, here are my thoughts: Discussion. I loved it. The storytelling was out of this world. The way the poem was revealed throughout the album was 🤌🤌. The build up, the pacing, the lyrics, the themes, it was all masterful.
