The city lies partly on a cliff, 25 to 40 feet (8 to 12 metres) high, and spreads northward over the undulating Accra plains. The area’s susceptibility to faulting is the cause of occasional earthquakes.
16 de may. de 2024 · In all, there are currently 16 Regions in Ghana and their capitals. Six new Regions have been created from the Volta, Brong Ahafo, Northern, and Western Regions. The Volta Region was divided into the Oti Region. The Ahafo region and Bono East region respectively have been carved out of the then Brong-Ahafo region.
