14 de may. de 2024 · This issue can cause Focusrite Control 2 to freeze during the update and the Firmware Update bar to stall, or the 2i2 4th Gen unit to become unresponsive. We recommend customers who see this behaviour unplug the USB cables from the 2i2.
Scarlett 2i2 interface: I run all pc audio through the interface. For the last couple of months my pc audio will randomly drop from crystal clear down to 8 bit highly distorted noise. If I switch the sample rate in the focusrite control it fixes it for a bit. : r/Focusrite.
After I restarted my computer to finish the setup, I noticed the Scarlett wasn't detecting my microphone, so I decided to unplug it and plug it back in again. Ever since I did that, the Scarlett has not been working at all. There are no lights on it and the Focusfire Control can not detect it.

Hace 2 días · Update for 17.2.2 with the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 Gen 2 The pop still happens, but a lot more infrequently. Audio latency is still very high - 250-300ms.
The way I found to fix it is to change Sample Rate or Buffer Size on Focusrite Control to a different value, and then change back to the original value. Also apparently out of nowhere, sometimes output audio just can't be heard anymore.
