11 de may. de 2024 · Dwight Twilley, the singer/songwriter who helped bring the Tulsa Sound to a wider audience, has died at 72. No cause or other details have been revealed. Twilley was best known for the Top 20 hit singles I’m on Fire (1975) and Girls (1984). He performed with the Dwight Twilley Band with Phil Seymour until 1978, when he went off as a solo act.

Out of this batch of records, I think the best grab was the ESG record, as I never see their records and its just a fun time to listen to. I was also happy to get the MC5 High Time, as that was the last studio album I needed to get from the band. Dwight Twilley was also a good grab, as I really like the track "I'm On Fire".
